We are currently hiring an Order Fulfillment Specialist. This crucial role serves as the primary point of contact between our customers and the company. As an Order Fulfillment Specialist, you will liaise between our customers, shipping department, and sales team. Your responsibilities will include answering emails, processing orders, and preparing documentation for production and shipping, all while working onsite. Pay rate: $18-$25 Based on previous experience.
The Order Fulfillment Specialist Responsibilities:
- Utilize Transaction Manager (EDI software) and Sage 100 (Accounting software) effectively.
- Transmit daily EDI transactions, including orders, ASN, invoices, and warehouse documentation.
- Perform accurate data entry into various EDI and accounting software systems.
- Batch orders to ensure all shipments are processed for invoicing.
- Print the orders and product/shipping labels
- Verify that warehouse orders can be fulfilled from the correct locations and promptly communicate any shortages to management.
- Monitor all orders and warehouse activities to ensure compliance with month-end cycle count cutoff dates.
- Ensure all orders are processed, and batches are completed for all warehouses.
- Address and resolve customer service concerns and questions regarding orders, freight carriers, brokers, sales personnel, and warehouses.
The Order Fulfillment Specialist Requirements:
- Be able to pass a computer literacy test.
- Be able to speak, read and write English.
- Ability to communicate clearly via phone and email.
- Be able to work in an office setting, sharing an office space with three other people.
- Be able to work Monday thru Friday 8am to 5 pm
