We are currently hiring a Parts Inventory Specialist. This critical role is essential in maintaining our parts inventory and ensuring the availability of necessary parts for our operations. As a Parts Inventory Specialist, you will monitor, purchase and manage our parts inventory, create and maintain parts lists, and coordinate with various departments to ensure seamless operations. Your responsibilities will include ordering parts, conducting cycle counts, and maintaining accurate records, all while working onsite.

Pay rate: $20-$25 Based on Experience
Parts Inventory Specialist Responsibilities:
- Order parts and manage inventory to ensure parts availability aligns with work schedules.
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels of critical parts using CMMS software.
- Keep equipment files and critical parts lists up-to-date and easily accessible.
- Conduct cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Identify and organize parts in designated storage areas.
- Effectively utilize parts logs for planning and inventory control.
- Communicate discrepancies and coordinate resolutions with relevant departments.
- Collaborate with Accounting to accurately report maintenance purchase expenses.
- Maintain open communication with managers and departments, including maintenance, shipping and accounting.
- Create and maintain parts lists, associated costs, and vendor contact information.
- Organize, and maintain departmental equipment files, procedures, drawings, and reference materials in both hard copy and digital formats.
- Ensure that all documentation and records are current and easily accessible.
Requirements:
- Be able to pass a computer literacy test.
- Proficient in English, with the ability to communicate with staff and vendors in a friendly and professional manner.
- Proficiency in computer skills, including Excel and email (beginner level).
- Basic understanding of inventory control principles.
- Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with vendors and employees at all levels.
- Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy.
- Reliable in managing and maintaining inventory records.
- Be able to work onsite Monday through Friday or Monday through Thursday 1st shift.
