Cleaning a Selfie Ring Light 
Cleaning a selfie ring light is as easy as 1-2-3 with BKF. Most selfie ring lights are high-quality plastic, with LED lights or one circular fluorescent bulb. I looked online and found selfie ring light cleaner wipes at seven dollars a box. Cleaning a Selfie Ring Light 

You can clean your selfie ring light with Bar Keepers Friend Powder Cleanser or BKF MORE Spray + Foam. Either will keep your ring light clean and at its brightest. Pro tip: Turn your ring light off. Resist the temptation to leave it on as you clean it to help you see where the grime is, but it's not good to mix a water-based cleaner and electricity. With that in mind, before you start cleaning, turn your light on and look it over, noting soiled spots on the ring light.  

Using the Original Powder Cleanser 

  • Make a paste of Bar Keepers Friend Powder Cleanser and water
  • Dip a soft cloth or sponge into the paste
  • Gently rub the paste into the ring light
  • Let the paste sit for one minute on the light
  • Wash with a soft, damp cloth
  • Dry with a cloth or paper towel
Warning: Before cleaning any plastic parts, test a small out-of-sight spot to be sure the cleanser doesn't dull, stain, or scratch the surface. 

Using MORE Spray + Foam 

BKF MORE Spray + Foam is great for a quick clean. You can even wipe your light down before every shoot.
  • Always shake More Spray + Foam before using
  • Rotate the trigger spray nozzle to foam
  • Apply the foam to a soft, non-abrasive cloth and gently rub the ring
  • Clean off the foam with a soft, damp cloth
  • Wipe the ring light with a dry paper towel or cloth
Warning: Be sure the ring light is completely dry before using. Selfie ring lights have changed photography. They've become so common that people might not take a photographer seriously if they don't use a ring light.
