Can BKF Clean That? Yes, it CAN!
While BKF remains a core part of everyone's house cleaning arsenal, many folks still don't recognize the sheer variety of item that can be cleaned with BKF. Here's a brief rundown of some of the things you can clean with BKF that you probably hadn't thought about. I'm probably like many long-term super fans of BKF in that I use it all the time on almost everything. I should caution that you need to be careful before you carte-blanche try BKF on something you've not used it on before. For your standard house cleaning procedures, it's a good idea to try a small spot on the item you're about to clean before you commit to the whole job. With that said, here are a few of the things people have cleaned with BKF!

Windows and more

Yes, you can clean glass with BKF, but don't stop there. You can clean vinyl and metal window frames and blinds as well. However, my favorite is using BKF on the tracks of my windows and sliding door. You know how dirty they get with dust, dirt, and dead bug parts landing on the tracks from the outside. The Other Appliances

We've talked about cleaning Stoves and refrigerators with BKF, but there's so much more you can clean – toasters, blenders, microwaves, and your dishwasher. And with microwaves and dishwashers, you can use BKF to clean them inside and out!

Coffee Makers 

Wait, you can use BKF to clean coffee makers? Yes, indeed, but not the BKF powder. For those who don't know, BKF now offers a Coffee Maker Cleaner specially designed to bring your old coffee makers back to life and remove that bitter build-up. You know those hard to clean brown stains on coffee pots and your favorite mug? Those are caused by tannins, proteins, and oils that build up over time. Yep, I'm a fan of using BKF to clean my ceiling fans. Let's face it; ceiling fans are hard to get to. So, when I get out the ladder to clean the ceiling fans, I want it done right the first time. Granite and Stone

We do not recommend BKF powder on granite and stone. These materials can be damaged by acidic or alkaline cleaners creating dull spots and scratches – not a good look. So, BKF to the rescue! Our pH-balanced  Granite & Stone Cleaner & Polish will leave your stone clean, bright, and shiny. BKF even has a Microfiber Cloth for Granite & Stone. One side wipes away the grime while the other side polishes, and it can be rinsed and then air-dried for later use.

Garage Stuff

What kinda stuff is in your garage? We have a motorcycle, two cars, two bicycles, a lawnmower, snow blower, and many tools. All of the above can be made spotless with BKF. I've used the powder to make old gardening tools look new, and I wish I had taken a before and after of an old wrench that I left outside. BKF removed the rust and brought it back to life. Just be careful, use a soft cloth and don't rub too hard – let the powder do the work.

Sporting Goods

You can use BKF on your weights, golf clubs, fishing lures, and exercise equipment. I've even used BKF powder to rid a pair of sneakers of grass stains. I'm too old to be playing pitch and catch in a grassy field with a football. However, I only fell once, and I did eventually get back up. I also turned the top of my white sneakers green. BKF has been used on golf shoes, football cleats, skateboards, ski poles and more. You can use it on your stationary bike. And we've heard of it used on balls, goals, and helmets.
