We are hiring a 2nd shift Bekum Blow Molder Operator. The 2nd shift Bekum Blow Molder operator is responsible for operating and adjusting our three extrusions, shuttle blow molding machines, supervising support two packers, and ensuring that all production meets quality standards.
This is a hands-on role requiring excellent mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills, as well as the ability to lead others during production shifts. Candidates must be comfortable working overnight hours and on occasional Fridays when production demands require.
Bekum Blow Molding Operator Responsibilities Include:
- Perform troubleshooting and process adjusts to extrusion blow molding machines
- Supervise personnel (one or two people per shift)
- Verify product complies with established standards
- Processing and monitoring of new and/or existing products
- Verify production requirements are being achieved
- Ensure proper line set-up
- Ensure proper lock out/tag out procedures are followed by all appropriate personnel
- Maintain good housekeeping practices
Bekum Blow Molding Operator Requirements:
- Experience with Bekum machines strongly preferred
- Excellent mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilities
- Be able to work 2nd shift Monday thru Thursday 6 pm to 6 am. Be able to work on Fridays based on production needs.
- Good leadership skills
- Bekum Blow Molding Operator Physical Demands:
- Be able to stand, walk, squat, bend, twist, lift and drive equipment consecutively for up to 12 hrs. a day with or without accommodations
- Be able to reach, pinch, and conduct visual and hearing inspections with or without accommodations
- The ideal candidate can work on the production floor in a noisy environment
Pay: $21.00 – $21.50 per hour
