2nd Shift Forklift Driver – Full-Time – Indianapolis
We are currently seeking a Forklift Operator (Sit-Down Forklift) to join our team. This role is essential to ensure smooth production operations by supplying raw materials to production lines and transporting finished goods to our warehouse. The forklift operator plays a critical part in maintaining the efficiency and safety of our facility.
Pay rate: $18-$21
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely unload raw materials from mezzanines and deliver them to production workstations.
- Transport finished products to designated pallets or crates for storage or shipment.
- Inspect materials for damage, report any shortages or quality issues.
- Conduct daily inspections of forklift equipment to ensure proper functioning and identify any need for repairs.
- Adhere to all company policies and legal safety regulations.
- Contribute to maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
- Assist with production line tasks as needed to support operations.
Qualifications:
- Ability to safely operate a sit-down forklift.
- Availability to work Monday through Thursday, 4 PM to 2:30 AM, with occasional overtime on Fridays.
- Ability to read and comprehend English.
- Capable of identifying details of objects at varying distances, with or without accommodation.
- Ability to assess distances between objects and hear sounds, with or without accommodations.
