This weeks product spotlight Bar Keepers Friend Soft Cleanser is an amazing product. Did you know the liquid formula shares the same basic ingredients as the original powder? The premixed formula includes citric acid and a lemon scent. So, not only does it clean the lights out of stuff, it smells great, and it’s excellent for removing soap scum, rust stains, tarnish, and mineral deposits. Here’s what a few BKF Soft Cleanser fans had to say.
Product Spotlight Bar Keepers Friend Soft Cleanser
Customer Reviews
“This stuff is AMAZING! I had thick, dark buildup on my once beautiful stainless-steel pans. I thought I’d have to use the whole bottle and scrub for a few hours to get it off. But no! Just a moderate about of scrubbing and about five minutes, and the pots were shiny again! This will definitely be a staple in my pantry.” —Lisa G.
“This stuff is heaven-sent! I use it for so many different things, including my sinks, shower, and faucets! It takes a little elbow grease when it comes to soap scum, but everything always comes out pristine.” — Danielle W.
“I did some digging around on each product and figured the Soft Cleanser would be better for my stove top and the BKF powder would work for the bathroom — though the packaging mentions either could be used.
But my apartment was in SHAMBLES, people. I couldn’t take the chance, so I ended up purchasing both. Ya know, just in case.
And holy heck, where has this been my whole life?! The Soft Cleanser was able to erase these awful water burns on my stove. Please, just take a look for yourself:” — Kayla S.

“I have a white kitchen sink, and it tends to have some staining from many years of use. Bar Keepers Friend has really made an improvement and brightened the sink. It even removes rust. I followed the instructions on the bottle and was impressed. Since this is a 26 oz., bottle, it will last a long time. I like that it does not scratch my surfaces, and I can use it on my stainless steel appliances. It did a wonder on my gas stove surfaces!” — Jessica T.
“My shower door was almost white from dried-on soap scum. I read somewhere that this stuff could clean soap scum and water spots off shower doors. I ordered it. So, today I took a shower then saw the Bar Keepers Friend on the counter, so I stepped out of the shower and grabbed it. I figured the soap scum would be soft from my hot water shower. I squirted it over my shower door and realized I didn’t have a rag. So I “smeared” it all over the door with my hand and then rinsed it off. CLEAN shower door, no scrubbing!!! Less than 2 minutes for this result!” — Michelle
“I was about to replace my stainless steel dishwasher door for $200 because it looked so horrible. So, I figured I would try this product and was very impressed. It took me about 5 minutes, and my dishwasher looked new.” Chris
In it’s own way, Bar Keepers Friend Soft Cleanser is as effective as the original Powdered Cleanser. However, the BKF Soft Cleansers premixed formula is more convenient for quick or routine cleaning. Another advantage of the Soft Cleanser is that it clings to vertical surfaces such as shower doors, while it removes soap scum, rust stains, tarnish, and mineral deposits. Besides. Who doesn’t like a lemony scent?
So, do you use BKF Soft Cleanser? If you do, drop us a line, and tell us what you clean with it.
